The Communauté de communes du Bugey Sud in France includes 41 municipalities in the Ain department, in the upper Rhône valley. It is located in the east of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, not far from Switzerland, on the right bank of the river.

The Virignin marina
Located on the banks of the Rhône, the Virignin marina provides services for pleasure boats:
Rings, fixed quay for passenger boats, parking, launching ramp, bollards for camping-cars, sanitary facilities, off-bag area, all secure.
From the port of Bugey Sud, you can easily navigate in the Upper Rhône valley and up to the Savières canal, the hydrological link with the Lac du Bourget:
